Movie Night

Tyson was treated to a special viewing of Polar Express in his bed, complete with popcorn, pretzels and an appearance by Dad.

It's not often these two sit still for more than a few minutes, especially Levi who has just about mastered his "Fred Sanford" walk. So when they decide to have a cuddly, brotherly moment we can't resist to take a few pics!

Kevin's Birthday

To some of my friends 29 sounds so young. To others it may seem so old. I had not given the number much thought until I actually saw the digits glowing on top of my cake. I only had a moment to reflect on the year that has past and my accomplishments and goals because I could see Tyson already puckering up his lips and taking in a deep breath. This caused me to rush my wish and lets just say that Pajama Jeans better live up to the hype. I would like to say thanks to everyone who sent me a card or posted on my wall wishing me a happy birthday. But most of all, I would like to thank Jenn for being just the way she is and always finding time to make every occasion truly special. I love you and thank you for everything you do!

Just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband. 

Virginia and Ohio....Here We Come

Kevin and I will be packing up the boys next Friday and making our way up north to visit family and friends for Thanksgiving!  We can't wait, even though we are pretty realistic about the torture of an 18-hour car ride with two young children!  But before we get ahead of ourselves, I have to recap the wonderful past few weeks we have had!

We celebrated Levi's 1st birthday in Gator style, but best of all, we got a surprise visit from NeNe and PopPop!!  It couldn't have come at a better time!

The next weekend it was time to prepare for Trick or Treat!  My little superheros had a blast!

We truly are blessed and have so much to be thankful for this year! I can't wait to celebrate and share it all with our family.

Wonderful Weekend! So much to share...

Despite the fact that Levi was feeling a little under-the-weather from teething (which is evident by his hand shoved in his mouth during all our pictures) we had a really great weekend!! 

Friday was UF's Homecoming and I took the boys to the parade.  Kevin was even able to sneak away from work and join us for a bit.  And of course, Tyson's best friends were there to celebrate with us.

Then we headed to the Ferrell House for Nia's birthday party! As always, her mom was a rock star party planner and everyone had a blast. We feel so lucky to be part of this amazing little girl's life!  Can't wait until next year Nia!

Saturday morning was family picture day, but more importantly, Levi's birthday!!!!  We spent the day just the 4 of us, and although it made me miss our family terribly, it really was a great day! 

 

But the best news of all was hearing how well the recovery of Baby Isaac was going!  We were so relieved and thrilled to here he was back at home in his mama's arms by Saturday!  Can't wait to meet the little guy, but I'm madly in love with his adorable little face already! How can you not be?

Under The Weather

If you have been wondering where the Keyes Family has been, we've all been battling various cold and flu symptoms.  We have missed out on some fun weekends with friends and still have yet to make it to see our friend's newborn baby girl.  With the exception of Levi, who is fighting off a double ear infection, we are all feeling much better (on most days).  Hopefully Levi will be at 100% for his 1st Birthday in a few weeks but as you can tell from the picture below, he still feels like Mr. Yuk!

If a face painter says "Dogs are my speacialty" you'd better check some references just in case.  I suppose it is possible that this person had never actually seen a real dog or maybe she was running low on the brown paint.  Tyson looks like he was playing with his pudding and now ants are trying to eat his face.  He was not too happy about this and asked to have this wiped off soon after taking a few photos.

Geared Up For Football Season!

Football season marks the begining of our favorite time of year--Fall.  Soon, the weather will be getting cooler and the Halloween candy starts appearing (and disappearing) in dishes around the house.  It won't be long before those familiar smells of autumn fill the air as we sit in our living room with the windows open and watch our favorite shows or root on the Mountaineers and the Gators (and pray for the Redskins to win a few games).  Hail to the Redskins, Go Gators, and of course, LET'S GOOO MOUTAINEERS!

Football and Fruit Snacks....does it get any better?

Make no mistake, there was no threat of anyone taking Tyson's fruit snacks.  He just thought it would be best to shove the entire bag in his mouth so he could get back to watching the Gator game and playing with his best friends!

We sure do love our little cowboys!  Although, it should be noted that once the video stopped a fit ensued over not getting a second ride!  I guess most westerns don't have sweet endings!
