The X Factor

I had to laugh when I saw our friend Luigi's recent post of him jamming out to this same song with his 1 year old daughter.  Must be something about this particular tune that the kids like.  Tyson went into full rock mode when it came on the other day while Levi was too busy sleeping.

What's Up Doc?

Levi decided to make some interesting sounds while we were all sitting on the couch watching Looney Tunes.  Just as the show ended and Levi wrapped up his routine Tyson realizes that Bugs Bunny was dressed up like a woman the whole time.

Summer Time in Florida

The camera has been lost for most of the summer so we are short on footage and pics from the last few months but it has been recovered and we intend to catch you all up with what been going on this summer.

Living in Florida you would probably think that we run off to the beach whenever we can but the truth is that it has just not been that enjoyable for a few reasons.  We live two hours away so most of our trips are day trips and do not require a hotel room.  This means if the kids need to change clothes or they get tired of the sun there is no place to go especially when the Jeep (2 wheel drive) is parked half a mile away. This usually means that our actual time at the beach adds up to less than an hour.  With the new addition of a 4X4 truck we have eliminated any excuse not to go.  Crescent Beach (approx 5 miles south of Saint Augustine) allows you to drive on the beach and park close to the dunes.  Suddenly we have a place to change and cool off in the A/C if needed.  So far it has never been crowded with the closest beach goers being about 30 yds away.  We have been several times so far and look forward to many more trips.

4X4 Only. We had to help pull a 2X4 Ford out of the sand.

Levi contemplates jumping in.
