Whistler's Mother

This evening Tyson was making sounds that could almost be interpreted as a faint whistle. I mentioned to him that if he kept practicing, maybe he could learn how to whistle. Not more than 2 minutes later, a real life whistle came out of his mouth! We all cheered and Tyson hopped up and down in excitement. Now, all we need to do is have Tyson teach his mother how to whistle too!

Good, Old-Fashioned Fun

Tonight we did not put on the TV or play with a remote control cars. Instead, Jenn brought home a kiddie bowling set, made up stories and rode around in a box pulled by a rope. I love how Imaginative these boys are. Sure, it usually turns into a wrestling match and someone is bound to get a timeout and Levi will most definitely crack his head on a something but it sure beats the boob-tube!

Missing Summer

So we had a few warmer days recently and Tyson asked me to bring out his pool. Sorry Tys, you're gonna have to wait a few more months. Here is a video taken last spring on the first warm day of the season. I figure out how to hold the camera after a few seconds.

Happy Birthday Tyson!!!

We recently celebrated Tyson's 3rd birthday on December 29th.  We can hardly believe that he is already 3 years old and he just seems to get bigger and act so much older everyday.  I've always heard that kids grow up so fast but I guess you don't realize it until you have your own.  It is hard to remember what life was like before he got here but he sure has made our lives wonderful. We love you Tyson Patrick Keyes!!
